Welcome 

TELL is a multifaceted, nonprofit organization that has been serving Japan’s international community since 1973. TELL is dedicated to providing world-class, effective support and counseling services to Japan’s international community, as well as helping to address the country’s growing mental health care needs.

 

Since our inception, the priorities of TELL have been saving lives, reducing the number of suicides in Japan, and providing resources, and promoting awareness of mental health in our community. Sadly since May 2020, Japan has seen an increase in the number of suicides, particularly amongst women and young people. Addressing these disparities which our community currently faces in Japan is a key focus this year for TELL.
